I've spent more than fifteen years turning business problems into working web software. Today that means SaaS products, and the AI agents that automate the work inside them.

My career started with full-stack business systems: warehouse management, stock tracking, CRM, invoicing and purchasing, all in one platform. From there I moved through agency and product work. I built logistics and fleet systems, marketplaces, a social network, a live traffic-camera site, a route optimisation engine and a tour-booking platform.

As a lead engineer I replaced VBA-heavy Excel workbooks with an online calculation engine at PlanABuilding, and owned eAccountify, a multi-tenant accounting, ERP and HR platform, from idea to production. eAccountify now runs AI agents that produce reports, forecast cash flow and flag anomalies straight from the books.

Products that run real businesses

Most of what I build sits at the operational centre of a company. The ledger has to balance. The invoice has to carry the right tax. The stock count has to match the warehouse. The delivery route has to account for today's traffic.

The domains I know best:

  • Accounting & finance: double-entry bookkeeping, bank reconciliation, depreciation and financial statements
  • ERP & operations: inventory, production, purchasing, sales, HR and payroll
  • Logistics: fleet tracking, route management and route optimisation

Product owner and engineer in one

I'm as comfortable shaping a roadmap as I am writing the code that delivers it. On my recent projects I've been both the person deciding what the product should do and the person architecting and building it.

SaaS concerns are part of the design from the first day: multi-tenancy, subscription billing, role-based access and multi-company support. Bolting them on later is always more expensive.

AI is now a core part of how I build. I design agents that plan multi-step tasks, call tools and APIs, work from your own data, and stop for human approval before anything irreversible. In accounting, ERP and operations software, that means automating real workload, not adding a chat window for show.

My main stack is MERN (MongoDB, Express, React, Node.js) on AWS, with Docker and CI/CD pipelines. I've also shipped years of production work in Laravel, Vue.js, MySQL and PostgreSQL, so I can pick the right tool rather than the familiar one.

Where I am now

I'm based in Lahore, Pakistan (PKT, UTC+5) and work remotely with clients worldwide. I'm open to building a SaaS product from scratch, leading the engineering on an existing one, adding AI agents to automate a business process, or moving a business off spreadsheets and onto a proper web platform.

Common questions

Are you a developer or a technical lead?

Both. On recent projects I've set the roadmap and led the team while writing much of the code myself.

Can you build AI agents for my business?

Yes. I build multi-step agents that use tools and APIs, work from your own data with retrieval, return validated structured output, and include human approval steps and audit logs. They can live inside your product or automate internal workflows across email, WhatsApp and your existing systems.

What's your main tech stack?

MongoDB, Express, React and Node.js on AWS, with Docker and CI/CD. I also have years of production work in Laravel, Vue.js, MySQL and PostgreSQL.
